Un hommage à Michael Jackson avec orchestre symphonique aura lieu à 19h45 au Grand Rex de Paris le vendredi 11 octobre 2024 et à l’amphithéâtre salle 3000 – Cité centre des Congrès de Lyon le samedi 26 octobre 2024.
Cet hommage Pop Symphonique à Michael Jackson est une création originale d’Overlook Events. Conçu avec une équipe d’arrangeurs spécialisés et œuvrant sur des concerts symphoniques de grande envergure, l’ambition musicale est de proposer une qualité d’orchestration hors du commun, interprété par un orchestre philharmonique accompagné d’une section rythmique pop-rock pour une expérience annoncée comme exceptionnelle.
Pour rendre l’expérience musicale encore plus intense, Overlook Events annonce la présence de Fey B au chant, artiste issu de la scène pop, soul, RnB, funk et gospel, de l’incontournable Orchestre Colonne, et du célèbre Jeffrey Daniel du groupe Shalamar, mais aussi chorégraphe de « Bad » et « Smooth Criminal ».
Le concert se constitue des plus grands hits de Michael Jackson : Got to Be There, Ben, Rock With You, Off the Wall, Thriller, Beat It, Billie Jean, Human Nature, Bad, Liberian Girl, Smooth Criminal, Heal the World, Dangerous, They Don’t Care About Us, Earth Song, You Are Not Alone, et bien d’autres !

Jeffrey Daniels was not choreographer for either Bad or Smooth criminal. For Bad MJ worked at ideas for choreography together with him and another one, Smooth criminal is choreographed by Vincent Paterson, and yes you have there Jeffrey D plus other 2 guys, cannot remember now their names ( possible Cazsper Canidate, that said in the 90’s that he taught Michael the backslide- the base step that evolved in the moonwalk, and even nowadays repeats the same). According to Vincent Paterson Michael told him if he can bring some friends into the project as street dancers, and the scene near the pool table that is so like in cartoons was Jeffrey,s idea. The rest mainly Vincent,s but as in every project he was brainstorming the ideas together with Michael.
