Septième single extrait de l’album BAD, ce CD inclut six versions dont l’A Cappella, l’Extended…. Vous pourrez retrouver toutes ces versions sur Maxi 45T, 45T, CD Single. On peut regretter l’absence de la version instrumentale du titre sur ce CD Promo qui est devenu une pièce assez rare.

Le 1er juillet prochain (le 11 juin aux USA), le label Motown sortira dans sa série « The Complete Motown Singles » un Box Set consacré à la première moitié de l’année 1972. Ce coffret de 5 CD proposera 113 titres remasterisés dont quelques-uns de Michael Jackson et des Jackson 5. Il contiendra également un livret de 130 pages et un 45 tours vinyl inédit des Blackberries. Attention, ce Box Set (environ 58€) est en tirage limité à 7500 exemplaires.

Après le calendrier officiel annoncé dès le mois d’avril, voici qu’un nouveau calendrier 2014 non officiel Michael Jackson est désormais en vente sur amazon.fr. De format A3, il propose 12 pages et un porte clés est offert.
es 24 et 25 juin, France Ô rend hommage à Michael Jackson en diffusant deux documentaires, ainsi que le spectacle du Cirque du Soleil, The Immortal World Tour.
Afin de célébrer les 4 ans de la mort du Roi de la Pop, la chaîne France Ô va lui rendre hommage les 24 et 25 juin. A cette occasion, la chaîne du groupe France Télévisions diffusera le lundi 24 juin en première partie de soirée le documentaire Michael Jackson – The Immortal World Tour. Depuis la conception du spectacle du Cirque du Soleil, jusqu’à la première représentation mondiale, suivi du spectacle du Cirque du soleil consacré à l’inoubliable Michael Jackson, les téléspectateurs découvriront un hommage à la musique, au talent et à la créativité du Roi de la Pop.
Enfin, le mardi 25 juin à 22h50, France Ô programmera un autre documentaire sur Michael Jackson. Composé d’images d’archives et témoignages à l’appui, le réalisateur Géry Leymergie revient dans ce documentaire sur les années Bad.

mj2004 nous transporte cette semaine au Japon avec ce 45T vinyle de Michael intitulé « Farewell My Summer Love« . Ce disque voit le jour en 1984 chez Motown et est le premier single extrait de l’album du même titre. A noter, la présence au verso de la pochette des paroles de la chanson en anglais.

e groupe Quadron rend hommage à Michael Jackson avec leur nouvelle chanson « Neverland » qui figure sur leur nouvel album Avalanche et qui sortira le 17 juin prochain en France (4 juin aux USA). A noter que cet album contient également le titre « Where The Wind Blows » présent sur la bande originale du film « Gatsby le magnifique » actuellement sur vos écrans.
Robin Hannibal, musicien/producteur qui a formé les groupe Quadron en compagnie de la chanteuse Coco O a déclaré au sujet de « Neverland »: « Coco O et moi sommes tous les deux de grands fans de Michael Jackson et nous avions envie d’écrire une chanson à ce sujet mais avec un angle différent. Nous avons donc créé l’histoire d’une troisième personne sur le sujet de ceux qui deviennent imitateurs afin de rendre hommage à leurs idoles tellement ils en sont obsédés… La dernière ligne des paroles est « We’ll meet in Neverland » qui sert de symbolisme à la fois pour le ranch de Michael Jackson mais également pour l’utopie et le monde de rêve qu’il représente. »
